Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Tynan Motors has a unique opportunity for a passionate Workshop Controller to oversee and manage our service department in Kirrawee.
You will be managing a multi-franchise workshop with brands including; Jeep, Mitsubishi, Subaru, MG and more!
As an experienced workshop controller, you will ensure a high quality of work and guide and motivate our team of experienced Technicians/Apprentices.
This position is permanent full time - Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 5:00pm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing workshop flow, whilst adhering to completion times
  • Managing and leading a team to deliver quality workmanship, productivity and efficiently
  • Ensure all tasks including service, maintenance, diagnosis and repair works are performed in line with brand policy, procedure and compliance requirements
  • Supervising and organising training
  • Conducting weekly Toolbox Talks
  • Assisting technicians with diagnosing problems
  • Road tests with customers when required
  • Ensuring all warranty procedures have been adhered to
  • Monitor and manage Workshop activity to ensure profitability is maximised
  • Working in conjunction with service advisors and service managers to ensure customer needs are being met
  • Ensuring WHS compliance
