ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Workshop Controller to join our busy Artarmon Mercedes-Benz team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily tasks for a team of technicians
• Oversee technician productivity and efficiency
• Prioritise repair orders for timely completion
• Assist with technical problem-solving
• Suggest additional work to the Service Advisor team for customer notification
• Ensure repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures, seeking clarification when needed
• Lead qualified technicians and apprentices to optimise service delivery
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer benchmarks
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Assist in setting and achieving service sales and profit objectives
• Control workshop activity to maximise profitability

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE WILL INVOLVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Good command of the English language
• Full work rights in Australia
• Relevant work experience and trade qualifications
• MVTC essential
• Air-Conditioning License preferred
• ASCIS & AUVIS License preferred
• Previous Workshop Controller experience preferred but not essential
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to manage and lead a team
• Sound automotive technical knowledge
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Current Australian or International drivers license
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills
