We are currently looking to recruit a Workshop Controller at Sandal Wakefield. The importance of this key role is paramount to Sandal; being one of the largest privately owned BMW/MINI Retailers in the area, our aim is to deliver a premium service to our customers.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising the Workshop and its staff in order to achieve an agreed level of quality, efficiency and profitability
  • Carrying out Quality Control checks to ensure that the work carried out meets the highest level of customer expectation and to confirm that good working practices are being applied.
  • Monitoring and measuring repeat repairs in order that preventative actions may be implemented as required.

This is a great opportunity for an existing Workshop Controller, or an established Senior Service Advisor, who is determined to test and prove that they’re ready for the next step in their career with a prestige brand.
The Service Department at Sandal Wakefield is a fast moving facility with a 24 bay Workshop, Tyre Bay, Valet Bay and MOT facility. We are looking for a candidate to add value and to contribute to the ongoing success of company. You will be a confident professional who has an ability to organise their team. By offering solutions and advice you will maintain good levels of communication within the Sandal Group.
We will provide an in-depth training programme that will allow the successful candidate to take charge of key areas of the department, organising their staff and ensuring that our business objectives are achieved.
We’re looking for a logical, analytical thinker to bring their energy and attention to detail to this new role, someone who is naturally results and outcomes focused to deliver the best experience possible for our customers.
