The ideal candidate will need to have previous experience in a workshop, a bodyshop or the motor trade as a Controller or Team Leader. Enthusiasm, commitment and excellent communication skills are vital to this role, as well as a proven track record of leading a successful team.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Workshop Manager this role consists of organising workload to ensure smooth running of all aspects of the workshop.

  • As Workshop Controller you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our Bristol workshop, that incoming work is planned, helping manage the time and resource, ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to.
  • Your people management skills will need to be second nature for the successful candidate as they will be required to lead, motivate and monitor the team.
  • You will be involved in quality checking of all work, ordering of required parts, tools, as well as health and safety compliance are also important elements of this role.
