Responsibilities

Report Directly to the Electrical maintenance workshop supervisor on a full-time permanent position located at Eastern Ridge tooling operation hub. This position is for FIFO on an 8D6RR roster permanent position.

Your duties will include:

  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on belt change out equipment (Vulcanisers, Winches, Winders, Generators, and a range of Conveyor Maintenance Equipment) to ensure availability, performance and integrity of our assets.
  • Test and tagging
  • Fault finding control systems
  • Conducting both planned and unplanned maintenance on assets in accordance with BHP policies and procedures.
  • Following specific BHP electrical maintenance inspections and procedures.
  • Demonstrate commitment and conformance to the BHP Charter values, the BHP Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct, and relevant statutory obligations.
  • Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development.
  • Demonstrate effective handling of safety incidents by ensuring that incidents and hazards are identified and reported to line leaders
  • Provide support and carry out daily inspections, planned maintenance and attending breakdowns as required.
  • Execute work orders as per schedule and relevant work instructions associated with the work orders to a high standard and in a timely matter.
  • Good customer engagement skills
  • SAP/Fiori and Standardised work business discipline.
  • Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
