We are a locally, family owned, Precision Engineering Company based in Newton Aycliffe, Co. Durham. We specialise in the design and manufacture of pressure related components for the Oil & Gas Industry

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Workshop / Factory Assistant.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process, ensuring that products are assembled, packaged, and prepared for distribution. This position requires a commitment to quality and safety while working in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with co-workers.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment in producing high-quality work.
  • Basic understanding of machinery operation is a plus.

    Salary is negotiable depending on prior experience. Overtime is available as and when required

Responsibilities
  • Carry out inspection of machined components.
  • Setting and operating of CNC Engraver and Laser Etcher.
  • Assemble products or components with precision and attention to detail.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Maintain Raw Material Storage Racks in an orderly fashion.
  • Identify Raw Material using our Unique ID coding.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Assist the Workshop Director with any adhoc tasks as and when required
