WORKSHOP FITTER/TECHNICIAN
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced technician to work at our premises in Ilkeston, full-time in a permanent position. We are looking for a motivated and well organised person who works well within a team.
Day to day activities will include the preparation, testing and installation of our commercial cleaning equipment into customer vehicles. Alongside providing technical advice & support to our customers, both over the phone and face to face.
A small amount of travel visiting customers to repair, drop off, or collect equipment maybe required at times. A full driving license is required with this job role. A company vehicle is provided for any external visits.
You will work closely with our workshop and office manager to help coordinate the build of products, the installation of equipment (into vehicles), stocking of products as well as the hand over of equipment to end users.
We are looking for someone who is good at problem solving, showing initiative, a good communicator.
The right candidate will have experience of working with measurements, basic plumbing, basic knowledge of 12v electrical wiring and working with handheld & power tools.

You will need to be confident with reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of production machinery. You will work as part of team of fitters / engineers working to ensure all production machinery is fully optimised and functional. On the job training and development will be given
