OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and talented individual with a proven track record in our industry to fill this important role. You will be responsible for the workshop operations and will oversee all items of plant maintenance, repair and inspection. It will be your responsibility to ensure that our equipment is delivered to our customers in a first class condition. You should be an individual with the experience and enthusiasm to develop and motivate the workshop team. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the depots fleet of vehicles is maintained (via our suppliers) to the correct standards and that a planned maintenance programme is adhered to.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a similar role with strong mechanical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for assembly and repair tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for effective customer service and team collaboration.
  • A proactive approach to safety and quality control within the workshop environment.
