POSTING ON BEHALF

Mozita Group New Zealand Limited is seeking an experienced and organised Workshop Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our busy mechanical and WOF service centre. This role requires someone who can manage administrative functions, coordinate staff and customers, and ensure the smooth delivery of workshop services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and oversee all mechanical and WOF job bookings
  • Issue mechanical quotes and follow up on pending quotes
  • Coordinate job flow between customers, suppliers, and technicians
  • Raise job cards for all mechanical and WOF bookings with complete vehicle details (Odometer, Registration expiry, WOF and service due dates)
  • Order required parts in advance and manage part returns as per deadlines
  • Handle insurance-related mechanical jobs and liaise with providers
  • Invoice completed jobs (WOF and mechanical) and accept customer payments (EFTPOS and cash)
  • Offer quotes to customers in case of WOF failures
  • Maintain an accurate mechanical diary and update job tracking systems daily
  • Keep records of pre-ordered parts and consumable inventory
  • Maintain front office cleanliness and manage rubbish disposal (including Yellow Bin collection)
  • Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone
  • Manage email communications and workshop correspondence
  • Send daily EFTPOS summary reports to the Accounts team
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards
  • Oversee workshop consumable stock and office supplies
  • Provide general administrative support as required

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in office or workshop administration OR Qualifications in Business or Management (Level 4 or above)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Confident with customer communication and service coordination
  • Familiarity with automotive services or mechanical workshop operations preferred
  • Competence using spreadsheets, email, and digital booking systems
  • Ability to manage supplies, records, and payments accurately

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
