Dingli AWP Europe Trading Limited B.V., our sales, marketing, and service subsidiary based in Weert, Netherlands, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Workshop Manager to oversee and actively participate in warehouse operations. Position Overview: The Workshop Manager at Dingli is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop (warehouse), ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, and managing the workshop (warehouse) team. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and technical services of aerial work platforms and related equipment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and manage all workshop (warehouse) activities, ensuring efficient and safe daily operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution. Perform hands-on workshop (warehouse) tasks, including material handling, equipment operation, PDI, and basic machinery/equipment maintenance. Coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of aerial work platforms and related machinery. Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory of parts, tools, and materials required for workshop (warehouse) operations. Collaborate with other departments such as sales, service, and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction. Monitor workshop (warehouse) performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and implement process improvements to optimize workflow, accuracy, and cost efficiency. Oversee facility and administrative duties, such as telephone and network systems, courier services, office supplies and maintenance of assets/vehicles Proven experience in managing workshop (warehouse) operations, preferably in the machinery or aerial work platform industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a workshop environment. Good communication skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. Fluent in English (spoken and written); Dutch language skills are a plus. Proficiency in workshop (warehouse) management software and MS Office. Physically fit and willing to undergo a pre-employment medical examination. Proactive, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
