JOB SUMMARY

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a key role in the strip down, inspection, repair, and reassembly of a wide range of industrial pumps and rotating equipment. This position involves both workshop-based fitting and occasional site work at customer premises, carrying out repairs, maintenance, and installation tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Practical, hands-on approach with strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good attention to detail and pride in quality work.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
  • Previous workshop or engineering experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally within pump, rotating equipment, or engineering sectors.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Competent in the use of workshop tools and machinery.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to customer sites when required.
  • Safety-conscious with excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Clean Driving License
