Red Sky are recruiting on behalf of our client for a strategic and experienced Operations Manager / General Manager to lead their busy workshop operations based at Gatwick Airport.
This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong background in automotive, engineering, or logistics operations. You’ll be responsible for driving performance, compliance, and service excellence, directly supporting the smooth operation of airport ground services.
We are looking for a results-driven professional Operations Manager/General Manager with a passion for continuous improvement, safety, and team development, capable of thriving in a fast-paced and regulated environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, coach, and allocate engineering/operational resources effectively.
• Ensure timely, cost-effective workshop repairs with the Workshop Manager.
• Drive continuous improvement, reduce inefficiencies, and uphold compliance.
• Manage budgets, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Oversee vehicle and equipment standards, audits, and certifications.
• Maintain strong client relationships and excellent service delivery.
• Support recruitment, team engagement, and HR processes.
• Ensure full compliance with airport, safety, and regulatory requirements.
