Description

Do you enjoy working with your hands and building things from the ground up? We’re seeking a motivated Workshop Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company in Norwich.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the production process—assembling, constructing, and finishing specialist products with the use of both hand and power tools. It’s a hands-on position where precision, quality, and teamwork are key to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with or independently completing the assembly and fabrication of bespoke products
  • Using hand and power tools to assemble sub-components and full units
  • Working to job schedules and meeting deadlines
  • Maintaining high-quality standards, reporting any issues or improvements
  • Supporting colleagues and working collaboratively across departments
  • Following Health & Safety procedures and using the correct PPE at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • A practical individual with a good engineering mindset
  • Willingness to work regular overtime to meet production demands
  • Confident using tools and able to follow instructions and procedures
  • Good team player with a strong work ethic
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and take part in training
  • Prior experience in a workshop, production, or assembly environment

What’s in it for You?

  • Competitive salary and regular overtime at an enhanced rate.
  • 32 days including bank holidays (with Christmas shutdown)
  • A dynamic and supportive working environment.
  • Profit sharing bonus scheme (eligible after 1 years’ service)

If you’re a proactive Workshop Operative looking for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you! Apply now or contact Jack at Pure for more information.
