WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Due to our continued growth and further planned expansion within the M&E sector, we require an enthusiastic, practical and proactive engineer. This will start as a workshop-based role, with the primary function to service, calibrate and repair our press tooling fleet of tools while the product knowledge is gained. After training and with support this role will take the “lead” and be the champion for “press fit” and technical “M&E” products supporting the warehouse and customer-facing parts of the business.
THX are increasing the range of items we can calibrate here onsite and this role would be at the forefront of driving this forward and exploring other business opportunities in this area.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and maintaining the presentation of equipment
  • Inspecting and testing returned hire equipment (training provided)
  • Calibration of tools and equipment (training provided)
  • PAT testing (training provided)
  • Repair of press fit tools (training provided)
  • Work with the team to set and improve systems and procedures
  • Using a computer-based system for administration.
  • Proactively research and learn the products with the aim of being the ‘go-to person’ for

these products in our range

  • Providing support to our warehouse, workshop and driving teams, as required
  • To become the lead person in setting up the “press station” and developing and delivering repair and calibration service to our customers
  • Arranging the return of customer equipment and dealing with customer enquires with the Sales Team
