Role Summary:
The planner function is organised and performs duties at various levels within planning.
Activity will be aligned with the planning team primary focus on component maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • An active member of the Planner Team working towards company’s commitments
  • Facilitate and ensure that delivery meet agreed terms
  • Interface with the workshops teams to prevent operational issues
  • Prepare parts for external repair as required and notify supply chain
  • Ensure parts availability meet planned forecasted maintenance
  • Expedite, and follow up orders with supply chain
  • Priority, expedite material not yet delivered to avoid work-stop
  • Continuously work with cost reduction initiative
  • Assess alternative vendors in cooperation with supply chain
  • Evaluate and suggest min/max possibilities supply chain within forecasted demand
  • Actively recommend procurement adjustment according to forecast changes
  • Follow company procedures in order to comply with quality requirements set by customers and authorities
  • Other duties delegated by manager

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

  • Relevant aviation Certificate and/or relevant higher education – relevant work experience may compensate for lack of formal education in some cases.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience, preferable within a aviation MRO-Maintenance organization
  • Technical background
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent English skills (both written and spoken).
  • Accurate, structured, independent work style
