That's a lot of places and a lot of memories! We're looking for a Workshop Service Manager to join our Queenstown team on a full-time basis. If you have Management experience in the automotive industry and are passionate about guest experience this is the role for you! Key Responsibilities: Deliver the highest standards of vehicle condition and quality in line with thl standards Manages, coaches and motivates the workshop team to ensure that high standards of work and productivity in line with labour model expectations are delivered consistently. Actively contributes as an active member of the branch leadership group Implement/communicate/monitor Customer Satisfaction standards Establish/maintain/build warranty claim processing procedures Ensures personal roster availability to maintain 7 day a week leadership coverage in the workshop department, and the wider branch Act as the manager on duty for all branch departments when required Ensure that all crew are effectively trained in all work competencies and are motivated to work as a productive, quality driven team. Lead the recruitment of all workshop staff. Quality Control ensuring standards of brand standards are maintained in accordance within the company standards working in a face paced environment. Effectively completing reports, handovers and correspondences with regard to activity and revenue Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment, tools and manage inventory and stock levels Train and motivate staff to work as a productive, efficient and quality driven team Assist with rental guest queries when required Key Requirements: Full current driving licence At least 3 years’ experience with similar job responsibilities within the automotive industry Experience with Repairs and Maintenance based cost management Extensive knowledge of automotive systems (vehicle layout, function and parts) Knowledge of mechanical issues, warranties, service and general repairs Effectively plan, organise, distribute and execute all department work load requirements Technically knowledgeable in all departmental aspects with the ability to coach, train and develop others Display energy and drive towards thl’s company goals Good communication abilities both written and verbal Strong interpersonal skills and a collective focus to ensure motivation of teams Customer service & product quality focus Ability to work unsupervised, access and pass information on to staff and customers Attention to detail and the ability to accurately record information into thl’s systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office application skills Experience working under high-pressure conditions. Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. Must supply own tool kit.
