Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hydraulics Service Technician to join our workshop team based in Malaga, WA. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the overhaul and testing of hydraulic components, refurbishment of power units, and occasional support with installation and commissioning of larger hydraulic systems.
Working closely with the Service Supervisor and broader service team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality repairs, diagnostics, and reporting that support our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Demonstrate technical knowledge and hands-on experience with hydraulic components

  • Have experience with workshop-based hydraulic repairs and rebuilds
  • Be reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and in a team
  • Maintain strong attention to quality, safety, and detail
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Office applications
  • Have strong communication skills and long-term career aspiration
Responsibilities
  • Rebuild and test hydraulic components including pumps, motors, and wheel drives
  • Refurbish hydraulic power units to a high standard
  • Perform fault diagnosis and create detailed product analysis reports
  • Assist in installation and commissioning of hydraulic systems as required
  • Order and prepare required parts for each job, perform relevant testing, and identify any further repairs
  • Prepare service quotations and maintain accurate documentation
  • Upload service-related documents, including reports, vendor quotes, and delivery dockets
  • Ensure quality standards are met through clear documentation and customer communication
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
