Job Summary The position is responsible for the day to day safe and efficient running of the mechanical workshop and the workshop supervisor is responsible for budgets for the purchase of materials, fixings and fastenings and machine tools to ensure the smooth progression of projects through the workshop. Job Responsibilities 1 Plans daily activities of the workshop Receives and recording all incoming and outgoing jobs in SAP. Conducts professional repairs Overhauling and commissioning of old fleet assets where needed. Stores and monitors the workshop tools Updates clients of the status of their repair jobs through written reports or by telephone Provides advisory services to internal customers: Provide reports to the following individuals, departments and/or external contacts on the following basis: Workshop Job Analysis Report to Head of Department to indicate the inflow of maintenance and repairs jobs, on a monthly basis Ensure the fleet readiness for registrations renewal works. Ensure the preventative maintenance of fleet including routine greasing and cleaning. Job Responsibilities 2 Additional Responsibilities 3 Job Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of safety requirements of equipment’s.                                         Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components.                                             Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role Job Experience Minimum 3 years working experience, 2 years relevant experience , 1 year GCC experience is plus Competencies AgilityLeadershipQualityResilienceInventory Management L2Maintenance Management L2Service Reports and Logs Maintenance L2Adminstrative Services L2Planning and Scheduling L2AI FluencyEducation Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Mechanics or any related field
