Bring your energy to Aggreko as Workshop Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Operations Manager by overseeing the service center’s workshop activities. This role provides leadership to technicians, ensuring smooth equipment preparation, repairs, and customer service delivery while optimizing fleet readiness and operational efficiency. The Team Leader is designed as a development role leading towards a Service Centre/Operations Manager position. Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end. What you’ll do as Workshop Team Leader: Safety: Drive safety performance and accountability. Ensure facilities and work areas are safe, clean, and GSCS compliant. Conduct daily toolbox and safety meetings in the absence of the Operations Manager. People Management: Provide leadership, coaching, and development to technicians. Oversee team scheduling and supervision to meet service delivery goals. Maintain optimal staffing levels for both shop and field technicians. Fleet & Equipment Management Ensure timely maintenance and reliable asset availability for customer deployments. Oversee fleet readiness and pre-delivery preparation in alignment with global KPIs. Ensure physical fleet status accuracy in M3 & FSL systems. Lead equipment verification processes and deployment tracking. Commercial & Operational Management: Support cost control initiatives, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency. Monitor and manage technician overtime, subcontractor costs, and consumable expenses. Drive business standards to optimize service center expenditures. Oversee procurement processes within the service center You are: Trade or engineering qualification preferably as an electrician, diesel mechanic or gas mechanic At least 5 years’ experience in industrial workshops, power industry is a plus. Degree or certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent expertise. Valid local driver’s license, as required. Strong communication skills with proficiency in documentation and reporting. Ability to work independently and manage workloads in demanding conditions.
