About the role: We are looking for a proactive and people-focused, full-time permanent Workshop Team Leader to support the Workshop and Service Manager in leading day-to-day workshop operations. In this role, you will help coordinate workflow, support and coach team members, and ensure our rental fleet is safe, compliant, well presented and ready to deliver an excellent customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you will play a key part in keeping the team focused, supporting operational standards, and helping create unforgettable holidays for our customers. What you will be doing: Supporting the Workshop and Service Manager with day-to-day coordination of workshop activities. Allocating work across the team based on skills, knowledge and operational priorities. Leading by example and supporting a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture. Coaching, training and supporting team members to meet required standards. Monitoring vehicle processing standards and following up to ensure quality outcomes. Ensuring vehicles are prepared to a high standard, legally compliant and ready for customers. Communicating clearly with branch management and escalating issues where required. Supporting health, safety and compliance practices across the workshop. Helping maintain a clean, tidy and well-presented workshop environment. About you: You will be a confident team player who enjoys leading others, solving problems and keeping operations running smoothly. You will bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm and organised in a busy workshop environment. We are looking for someone who has: Effective supervisory, communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive, enthusiastic and solutions-focused approach. Strong attention to detail and confidence working under pressure. The ability to train, coach and support team members. Good technical knowledge of vehicles, workshop systems or operational processes. Mechanical experience, preferred but not essential. A current and valid driver licence, with manual driving capability desired. Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends if required. Why join us?
