Make and Share is a design studio and fabrication workshop located in Ballinakill, Co Laois. We specialise in designing, producing, and installing unique and creative event and activation structures & immersive installations as well as fit-outs.

We are growing our team of Workshop Technicians to support in producing high quality work for our event industry clients.
We mainly work with wood and we welcome applications from individuals with experience in carpentry, joinery, project installations etc.
Formal qualification/trade is not required - experience is what matters.
We are recruiting for full time positions, however we are also interested in receiving applications from those who are interested in part time/freelance work weekdays and weekends.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in some or all of the following areas
• Carpentry
• Joinery
• Furniture making
• Creating wood or mixed material projects from start to finish
• Sign Making
• Formal qualification/trade is not required - experience is what matters.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills on the job.
• Manual Handling and Safe Pass certifications are advantageous.
• Access to a car and a valid driver’s license, as the workshop is located in Ballinakill Co. Laois and public transport is not an option.
  We can only accept applications from those with authorization to work in Ireland and are already in possession of all required work permits.

• Assist in the production of high-quality furniture/fitouts/immersive installations by participating in various stages of the manufacturing process.
• Work collaboratively with skilled craftsmen and technicians to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Find solutions to problems that arise
• Travel to event sites to support installations
• Follow safety guidelines and adhere to best practices in all aspects of the job.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
