Description
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join the high performing team at our Cairns branch in Far North Queensland. In this role, you will complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under supervision   You will make an impact in the following ways: * Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products  * Diagnose and repair engines * Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components * Engine rebuilding and reconditioning * Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation * Assist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens * Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor Additional Information: * Full Time / 38 hours per week * On Call Roster  * Tool Allowance * Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours * All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered * Domestic Relocation from across Australia may be offered for the right candidate  * Local Valid Drivers License is required * Remote Area Travel Required Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
