ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY…

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Workshop Technician to join our team within the Stack Emissions Monitoring industry.
Based at our offices in Bradford, the role involves servicing, repairing, and calibrating emissions monitoring equipment, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. You will work closely with the workshop manager and the technical team to improve and develop equipment, while also maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment. This role may involve infrequent visits to other offices around the UK which may involve the occasional overnight where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, Repair & Calibration – Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate stack emissions monitoring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Workshop Support – Assist the workshop manager in daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Continuous Improvement – Collaborate with the technical team to enhance and develop equipment, implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Health and Safety Compliance – Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety regulations whilst maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Documentation & Reporting – Keep accurate records of servicing, repairs and calibrations ensuring high quality records are kept.
  • Technical Support – Aid field engineers when required, including preparing and testing equipment before deployment.

Skills & Experience (training to be provided where required):

  • Experience / Interest in a workshop or technical role
  • Knowledge / background of servicing and calibrating equipment
  • Problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and reporting
  • Full UK Driving License
