Description
MAS is seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join its technical team and support maintenance, repair, and assembly activities within the company’s workshop operations. The role involves hands-on work with mechanical and electrical equipment, contributing to the reliability, safety, and proper functioning of workshop tools, machinery, and technical systems. The selected candidate will support equipment preparation, troubleshooting, testing, and general technical tasks, working closely with engineers and technical teams. The position also includes occasional field support, with participation in installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting activities at project sites when required. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of workshop equipment, machinery, and technical components. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment. Assist in the assembly, installation, and testing of equipment, panels, or machinery based on technical drawings and company procedures. Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety checks to ensure proper equipment operation and compliance with safety standards. Support equipment preparation, testing, and documentation prior to installation, delivery, or commissioning. Provide technical support during field activities, including occasional travel for installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting at customer or project sites. Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. 1–2 years of experience as a Workshop Technician or in a similar technical role. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Basic problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team. Understanding of Greek safety regulations and compliance standards in workshops. Basic communication and organizational skills.
