Our client, Baywater Healthcare, delivers essential Home Oxygen and long-term condition services to patients in partnership with the NHS. At the heart of every depot is our workshop, where our technicians ensure returned medical equipment is safe, clean, and ready for use. We’re now seeking a practical, safety-focused individual to join our team as a Workshop Technician.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Workshop Technician, you’ll be based at our depot and play a vital role in supporting our regional team of healthcare technicians. Your responsibilities will include inspecting, cleaning, testing, and, where required, repairing medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and liquid oxygen devices. You’ll also help manage stock across regional sites and assist with equipment and consumables deliveries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Equipment Processing: Clean, test (including PAT and soak tests), verify, and repair returned medical equipment. Record serial numbers and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Stock & Site Support: Maintain Kanban stock levels at the depot and remote sites, report shortages, support goods-in, and keep the depot organised. Assist with deliveries to technicians and outlying areas.
  • Compliance & Communication: Follow all safety, manufacturer, and company procedures. Work closely with your team and Regional Team Manager, and complete required training, including Forklift Truck certification if necessary.
