Description The National WWII Museum is currently seeking a World War II Media Center Intern. This is a hands-on opportunity to help tell the powerful stories of the men and women who served during World War II—while developing real-world media and storytelling skills. Interns gain meaningful experience contributing to mission-driven content while learning from professionals dedicated to preserving and sharing WWII history. This internship offers exposure to museum media production, archival storytelling, and public history outreach. Requirements Historical research and fact-checking Script writing and narrative development Storytelling for digital platforms Podcast production and audio editing Video production and non-linear editing Social media content creation and management Qualifications Current college students or recent college graduates Interest in World War II history and storytelling Eager to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced creative environment Experience or coursework in media, film, journalism, communications, history, or related fields (preferred, not required) Internship Duration • Total Hours: 240 hours (20hrs/week for 12 weeks during June-August) • Schedule: Flexible, coordinated with the WWII Media department and academic requirements (if applicable) The National WWII Museum is an Equal Opportunity Employer and seeks diversity in its workforce.
