QUALIFICATIONS

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing/Patient Care
• Preferred: Master’s Degree
• Required: 3 years Nursing/Patient Care experience
• Preferred: 3 years Wound Care experience
• Required: Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board Illinois\
• Required within 1-1.5 years: Wound Care Certification (WCC) - National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy OR
• Preferred: Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) certification - Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board
• Required within 90 days: Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• As required by unit: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
• As required by unit: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
• As required by unit: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - The American Academy of Pediatrics
• As required by unit: Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance
