This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing expert wound management and coordinating care to promote healing and comfort. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with strong clinical skills and a commitment to quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: - Assess, plan, and implement individualized wound care plans for residents. - Monitor wound progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal healing - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals - Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and care techniques - Maintain accurate documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and progress notes - Participate in on-call responsibilities to provide wound care support outside of regular hours - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies related to wound management Skills and Qualifications: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice - Prior experience in wound care preferred - Wound Care Certification (such as CWCN or WCC) is a plus - Strong assessment and clinical skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team - Flexibility to participate in on-call duties as required Join our team and contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment where professional growth and compassionate care are valued.
