Maintain weekly wound documentation. Reviews admission assessment and validate admission skin assessment. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Health Records. Supervise and direct nursing staff; ensure compliance with care plans, MDS requirements, and regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers regarding care plans, changes in condition, and discharge planning. Perform clinical procedures including venipuncture, IV therapy, and emergency care as needed. Oversee admissions, discharges, and transfers; maintain medication inventory and cleanliness of medication carts. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and coordinate wellness activities to support resident health and socialization. Required Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina. CPR Certified. Intermediate computer skills. Preferred Requirements: BSN or MSN. Five years of wound care experience in long-term care. Wound Care Certification. Advanced computer skills. Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record Documentation and wound staging and compliance.
