THE OPPORTUNITY The purpose of this role is to implement a pro-active, specialised approach to the management of whole person impairment (WPI) claims and provide technical guidance in relation to the strategic management of whole person impairment (WPI) claims. Manage and determine permanent impairment claims within set targets and KPIs Achievement of all applicable Service Standards for the relevant Business Unit Manage all Permanent Impairment claims in accordance with applicable guidelines, procedures and timeframes Make decisions regarding entitlements to lump sums Provide legal and technical support to strategically disputes and litigation in WPI claims Coach and train case managers in relevant case law and implement changes to claims process as required Attend conciliation and court hearings as required.
