JOB TITLE: WRAPAROUND CARE SETTING LEADER (CLUB MANAGER)

Location: Mill Hill, Barnet, Whetstone
Job Type: Part-Time, Term-time only (39 weeks a year)
Salary: £13,665 - £16,225 based on 25 hours a week (Actual hours will vary according to site, contract & personal preference)
Hours of work: Wraparound roles include Breakfast Clubs typically running for 1 hour between 7:30am – 8:45am and after school clubs running between 3-6pm. Hours vary according to the site and the role. All wraparound roles are term-time only (38 weeks of delivery). Additional work may be offered in holiday camps during school holidays.

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic people to lead one of our wraparound settings and team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and caring environment, where children aged 4 – 11 years of age can enjoy a range of play, learning and leisure activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all children feel valued and supported.
  • Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times during wraparound care sessions.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote creativity, physical activity, and social development for children.
  • Support children with their individual needs, including emotional, social, and behavioural support.
  • Order and maintain all activity resources and food
  • Oversee the preparation and service of healthy snacks or meals in line with food hygiene and allergy guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory guidance including safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incidents, safeguarding concerns and reporting on number of places utilised and effective use of resources
  • Supervise Team members to ensure the smooth running of the club and assume responsibility for training
  • Build links and work in partnership with parents, carers and professionals to promote the well-being of the children and provide updates to parents/carers on their child’s participation and wellbeing.
  • Identify and report on child protection issues to the school DSL or other professionals as appropriate
  • Prepare for inspections both internal and external, including OFSTED
