COMPANY OVERVIEW

We are a US-based digital marketing agency in our 14th year in business, serving 30-40 clients, working as a small team. Clients are across North America in healthcare, skilled trades, professional services, and more. We deliver digital marketing services including SEO, PPC, social ads, social content, email newsletter, video production, and websites.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a team member for 40 hours a week as a contract worker. The candidate selected for this role will write website and other content for our clients in a range of industries. Remote, during 9AM-5PM Central USA (Chicago time). Roll is for 40 hours of work now and for the foreseeable future, but can change based on need.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Highly organized and able to keep projects on schedule and on quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and grammar.
  • Very detail oriented and able to follow our processes.
  • A confident, motivated self-starter who can serve the team by driving actions to completion using a service-oriented approach.
  • Some direct experience with digital marketing areas such as website content, SEO, social media ads, paid search ads.
  • Able to work during our business hours.
  • Success in this role includes producing content our clients love, being great to work with, and bringing positive energy to the team culture.
  • Must be able to think and discuss ideas quickly.
  • Attend team standup meeting daily, other meetings as needed.
  • Deliver about 2,000 hours of work per year for FTE role, about 1,000 hours per year for halftime role.
  • Equivalent of greater of a Bachelor’s degree in the US.
  • Native-level written and spoken English and grammar.
  • This role depends upon the employer maintaining the client base of work and retaining our content clients. This role includes a 90-day trial period with full compensation to create a natural check-in point on how it’s going. Compensation will be set as a USD/year, paid twice a month.

Responsibilities
  • Produce content for clients for websites, including blogs, services, product content, calls to action, and gated content. Produce off-site client content such as posts to social channels and off-site account pages. Industries include: B2B healthcare, B2C healthcare including dermatology and aesthetics, medical devices, skilled residential and commercial trades/construction and local service providers, professional services, and more.
  • Produce content for internal needs for marketing, sales, and operations.
  • QA and publish client blog posts and website content edits.
  • Develop insights and recommendations for better content production processes for all areas of our digital marketing services.
