Description Under supervision, types and also performs routine, repetitive, clerical work of a varied nature; does other related duties as required. Specific to the Position This position manages all critical administrative and clerical functions of the Bureau of Construction, Payments and Administration including telephone coverage, processing of incoming and outgoing mail and internal communications, data upkeep for funded projects in H2Loans, a web-based project management platform, and coordinates the routing of requests and questions to appropriate staff. Duties and responsibilities also include scheduling meetings and training for managers and staff, photocopying, filing, preparation of equipment and supply requests, and any other duties as required by the Bureau. Requirements Two (2) years of experience in clerical work including typing. NOTE: Successful completion of a clerical training program with a minimum of 700 classroom training hours or 30 semester hour credits in secretarial science from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one (1) year of experience indicated above. Coursework must include keyboarding skills, methods, and procedures; other courses may include, but not be limited to, office procedures, word processing, and business English. License Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
