Responsibilities/Duties: * Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents * Conduct regular patrols * Monitor activities * Surveillance * Access Control * Safety escorts * Using provided communication devices * Represent SSNW’s brand * Properly wear the issued uniform * Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR) * Complete Incident Reports * Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services * Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures. * Other duties as described in the Post Orders Required Skills/Abilities: * 10 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Security)  * Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record * Reliable transportation * Must be able to obtain a Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License * Honesty and Integrity * Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays * Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations * Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting. Education and Experience: * High School Diploma or Equivalent * Prior Public Safety and/or Military experience preferred * Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment Physical Requirements: * Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols * Able to stand 8-12 hours a day * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally) SSNW is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of applicant and employee information.
