The WSHE Coordinator is responsible for supervising and coordinating safety aspects and procedures as required under the Workplace Safety and Health Act.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Minimum WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (Level B)
• Experience: 1 - 3 years of proven experience in related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal ability

• Perform safety and health walk-through inspections at the workplace
• Conduct awareness training/activities such as monthly training, tool meetings and WSHE orientation.
• Direct investigations on workplace accidents and incidents and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain required safety and health documents.
• Conduct scheduled inspections on heavy machines.
• Collaborate with HODs to monitor compliance and identify safety issues.
• Liaise with authorities and clients on all WSH matters.
• Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
