Arlington County's Department of Environmental Services (DES) [https://www.arlingtonva.us/Government/Departments/DES] is seeking a Water/Sewer/Streets (WSS) Crew Leader to work within the Water Maintenance section and provide on-site leadership to water maintenance teams which specialize in the maintenance, replacement, repairs, and new installations of water mains, and water related emergencies, as well as tasks related to vegetation restoration, potholes, asphalt patches, and concrete curb and gutter. This position reports to the Trades Manager/Leader I and assumes the role of the Trades Manager/Leader I in his/her absence.

Responsibilities

The WSS Crew Leader provides on-site leadership to water maintenance teams for the repair, replacement, and installation of water infrastructure. The role also involves managing tasks related to street maintenance, vegetation restoration, and responding to emergency situations.
