Description Now Hiring: PRN Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) – Orlando, FL Location: Near Millenia Mall We are the number one outpatient imaging company in Northeast Florida and are now expanding into Orlando! Come be a part of a supportive team that wants to see you grow in your career! Precision Imaging Centers is now hiring Radiologic Technologists to join our growing Orlando center. Must hold a current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Florida and be registered with the ARRT. Availability to work 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts as needed between the hours of 7 AM and 7 PM. This is a PRN position that may transition into a Full-time opportunity as patient volume increases at our new center. Position Overview Radiologic Technologists at Precision Imaging Centers play an important role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging in an outpatient setting that prioritizes patient comfort, safety, and exceptional image clarity. Essential Job Functions Take patient medical history prior to exams Interpret physician orders and scanning instructions accurately Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation Properly position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images Select appropriate technical imaging parameters and operate radiology equipment Evaluate image quality and repeat images when necessary Assist physicians with procedures as needed Maintain patient safety and follow radiation safety protocols Maintain clean and organized work and procedure areas Restock and maintain supplies Requirements Education & Certifications ARRT(R) Certification Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist License BLS Certification High School Diploma or GED required Experience Medical terminology knowledge preferred Prior radiology experience preferred Skills & Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment Knowledge of radiologic procedures and safety standards Experience with venipuncture preferred Compassionate patient care approach Physical & Work Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds from ground to waist level Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed (no overnights) Why Join Precision Imaging Centers Outpatient-only setting – no call, no overnights Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Work-life balance focus PTO for part-time and full-time employees after 90 days Cross-training opportunities in other modalities if desired with ARRT exam prep provided Plus-Rewards, recognition, and referral bonus programs!
