We are seeking a skilled and dedicated licensed X-ray Technician to join our orthopedic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray technology, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous orthopedic experience preferred.   Responsibilities * Perform X-ray examinations on patients while adhering to safety protocols and aseptic techniques. * Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging procedures based on patient needs. * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including medical history and imaging results. * Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely. * Assist in various imaging modalities such as C-arm procedures. * Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures to patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort during examinations. * Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and medical imaging technologies. Experience * Licensed radiologic technologist * Proven experience as an X-ray Technician within a healthcare setting is preferred. * Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and diagnostic evaluation processes is essential. * Experience in orthopedics is desirable. * Knowledge of additional imaging techniques such as sonography, fluoro or emergency room experience will be considered an asset.
