JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and the ability to work effectively in various clinical settings, including urgent care and emergency medicine.
Role:
The Radiologic Technologist performs quality diagnostic radiological exams on customers as ordered by Providers. Customers may be infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The Technologist may also perform other radiological procedures within scope of licensure, for example, EKG’s and Dexa bone scans.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Basic Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

  • High school graduate or equivalent - Required
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology - Required

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 1-5 years experience in Radiologic Technology - Required.
  • Fluoroscopy experience - Required
  • Surgical experience - Required

Responsibilities
  • Performs accurate imaging exams as ordered by Physician/Provider and presents them for review.
  • Administers EKG’s and presents results to Physician/Provider for review.
  • Applies critical thinking skills appropriately, recognizes emergent situations and responds appropriately.
  • Responsible for maintaining daily records and for maintaining the department in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Maintains accurate customer medical records, ensuring confidentiality of all medical records.
  • Utilizes imaging and EMR computer systems correctly.
  • Performs daily check of systems and appropriate documentation.
  • Performs daily/weekly/monthly/ appropriate quality control testing.
  • Interacts with Providers, co-workers, customers, and families in a professional manner.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
  • The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.
  • The team member is accountable to maintain skill proficiency, including improvement when deemed necessary, and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list. * Recognizes and complies with legal, regulatory, accrediting, and procedural requirements related to area of responsibility.
