Description
We are seeking a commercially-driven and operationally capable General Manager to lead our regional office in Germany, focusing on the defense, homeland security (HLS), and private security sectors. The GM will oversee local commercial activities, manage daily operations of the existing office, and ensure alignment with global strategy and execution standards. This is a strategic role for a professional with a proven track record in sales, operations, and leadership within the defense and security ecosystem, and a strong understanding of B2G and enterprise sales dynamics Key Responsibilities: Lead all regional sales and commercial activities in the defense, HLS, and private security markets. Manage the daily operations of the existing local office, including back-office coordination (admin, logistics, finance interface). Develop and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, defense integrators, and commercial partners. Build senior-level relationships with German MoD, security agencies, integrators, and primes. Navigate procurement processes, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements Oversee and support contract execution, including delivery, after-sales service, and reporting. Act as the company’s official local representative for compliance, regulatory matters, and formal communication. Coordinate with global HQ functions in Israel across sales, legal, product, finance, and logistics. Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, operational performance, risks, and market opportunities Represent XTEND in strategic discussions, industry forums, and defense ecosystems Business Development and Operations Build and manage local partners, distributors, and integrators Align local operations with XTEND’s global product, engineering, and strategy teams Positioning and Execution Requirements 7+ years of experience in defense, with strong exposure to B2G or strategic B2B sales. Demonstrated commercial leadership, including experience in pricing, tenders, and high-value deal-making. Proven experience managing the P&L of a business unit or regional operation. Strong operational understanding, with the ability to manage cross-functional workflows and support business continuity. Has deep understanding of the German defense, security, and industrial landscape. Fluent in German, English
