YARD OPERATIVE – HOLBEACH BRANCH

Branch Bros Builders Merchant are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our team at our Holbeach branch.
About the Role:
As a Yard Operative, you will play a key part in the smooth day-to-day running of our busy yard. You’ll be responsible for ensuring customers receive excellent service, assisting with loading/unloading, and keeping the yard clean, safe and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Serving and assisting customers in the yard
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Picking and preparing orders for delivery or collection
• Ensuring the yard is kept tidy, safe and well-organized
• Assisting with stock checks and maintaining accurate stock levels
• Working as part of a team to provide excellent customer service

About You:

• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
• A good team player with a strong work ethic
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Forklift license (advantageous but not essential – training can be provided)
• Experience in a similar role or builders’ merchant environment is desirable but not essential

Location: Holbeach Branch
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Saturday on a rota basis
