We are seeking an Assistant to join our dynamic team at FARMAC TIMBER & BUILDING SUPPLIES at the heart of the construction supply industry. This role is vital in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing directly to our mission of providing top-notch building supplies.

• Assist with daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow.
• Operate forklifts safely to load and unload materials.
• Manage inventory using warehouse management systems.
• Handle materials with care during shipping and receiving processes.
• Support heavy lifting tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar roles
• Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of materials handling practices.
• Familiarity with construction materials and processes is desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Driving licence an advantage
