YOUR ROLE: As a Yard Driver, you're a key player in Distribution Center operations!  Your role includes relocating and positioning of trailers/containers for loading and unloading as well as maintaining organization of the yard. You will work closely with the Operations Supervisor to maintain smooth flow of trailers into and out of the yard. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure a safe work environment by efficiently operating mechanical equipment * Perform daily inspections of yard trucks and equipment to ensure all are in proper working order * Perform physical tasks while connecting and disconnecting trailers from tractors * Manage all inbound and outbound trailers in the yard to maintain organization and proper flow of equipment * Maintain proper certifications to operate required powered industrial trucks * Ensure monthly production and quality standards are met * Be open to performing other duties as assigned * May be required to flex schedule to meet business needs QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to perform basic math skills accurately  * Must be able to complete paperwork and forms neatly and accurately * Manual dexterity required * Ability to maintain an excellent attendance and work record PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack cartons for up to 12 hours at a time * Stand for long periods of time and walk continuously  * Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as needed * Bilateral hand coordination, foot coordination and trunk rotation * Climb stairs and perform work at platform heights up to 60 feet * Lift up to 50lbs.
