YARD FOREMAN (BRIGG)

We currently have an opportunity for a Yard Foreman based at our Brigg Building & Plumbing supplies branch. We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for customer service and who is confident to work as part of a team and under their own initiative. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Be responsible for the yard team and support them to ensure that customers are served promptly and effectively.
• Liaise with branch manager and assistant branch manager to identify any issues within the yard that need addressing.
• Assist branch manager in arranging transport requirements for deliveries.
• Accurately check all incoming deliveries into the branch to ensure the contents are in accordance with delivery/carriers notes
• Oversee the loading of our fleet of delivery vehicles ensuring that that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Ensure that the yard areas are kept tidy, accessible and in good operational order at all times.
• Oversee the security of yard stock by monitoring ingress and egress and controlling movement of stock in and out of the yard
