OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Yard Foreman to oversee operations within our live scaffold site environment. The ideal candidate will possess some scaffolding knowledge to make sure material management runs effectively. This role is vital for ensuring that all yard activities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Salary is to be discussed upon interview

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a yard or warehouse environment is essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective team interaction and reporting.
• Time management to ensure all jobs are done to suit the priority of the company.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Some experience within scaffolding to understand the materials

• Supervise daily yard operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate the movement of materials and equipment within the yard to optimise workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and equipment usage
• Conduct regular inspections of the yard to ensure cleanliness and organisation.
• Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the team promptly and effectively.
• FLT Reach licence is essential.
• Driving licence is essential.
• HGV or 7.5t licence preferred.
• Coordinate with project managers to align yard activities with project schedules and requirements.
