We’re a busy and fast-paced Marine and Powersports dealership specializing in boats, ATVs, side-by-sides, and trailers. Our team takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. We are looking for a reliable, full-time Yard Hand with boating and trailering experience to join our crew.
The Yard Hand plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our facility. This position involves working in an environment where attention to detail and safety are paramount. The Yard Hand will be responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of the yard, including cleaning, organizing, assisting with boat movement, and supporting the mechanics by preparing boats for service, all while ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

SKILLS

• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Forklift experience and certification (required)
• Boating and trailering experience (required)
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely to load and unload materials.
• Perform manual lifting tasks as required, moving products to designated areas within the yard and warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, ensuring that all equipment is stored properly.
• Clean and organize work bays
• Manage garbage and recycling in-store and throughout the yard
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Pressure washing Boats and other equipment as needed
• Trash removal and general cleaning
• Inspecting and reporting on any danger or hazards
• Load and unload pallets or crates as needed for shipping purposes.
• Perform basic equipment inspections daily
• Trailering boats, ATVs, Side by Sides, and various other pieces of equipment as needed
• Assist in the launch or haul of Boats as needed
• Securing Boats on Hardstands as needed
