What You'll Do:  * Load and unload rig equipment and supplies. * Support mechanics and welders by moving equipment and supplies in and out of shops and relocating in yard areas. * Assist managers in maintaining rig parts and equipment inventory in drilling yards. * Maintain yard equipment, forklift, loader and rig truck. * Schedule drilling pick-ups for service and repairs. * Participate in on-call duties 24/7. What We're Looking For: Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities * A high school diploma or equivalent education with two (2) years of experience working with drilling rigs and operating yard support equipment; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. * Good working knowledge of all rig parts and can identify those parts.   Certificates, Licenses, Registrations * Possession of a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).   Additional Eligibility Qualifications * English language fluency, verbal and written. * Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test. Responsibilities
The Yard Hand is responsible for loading and unloading rig equipment and supporting mechanics and welders by moving supplies. They also maintain yard equipment and manage rig parts inventory while participating in 24/7 on-call duties.
