Bethell Group is looking for a Yard Manager to oversee the safe, efficient and professional running of our yard, supporting Bethell Construction, Bethell Utilities and Bethell Plant. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same.

As Yard Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Keeping the yard safe, controlled and well-organised at all times
• Managing deliveries, collections, vehicle access and stock movement
• Carrying out daily checks on plant and equipment, reporting defects or damage
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and Health & Safety requirements
• Carrying out toolbox talks and daily briefings
• Supporting sites by recording and communicating available materials and plant
• Leading and motivating the yard team to meet high standards and pass audits
• Maintaining plant and vehicles, ensuring they are clean, safe and ready to hire
• Promoting sustainability by encouraging re-use and recycling of materials
