OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Yard Manager to oversee operations in a busy dismantling yard. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in yard management or a similar operational role, ideally within dismantling, recycling, or related industries.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of dismantling processes, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and legal regulations related to yard operations.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff, customers, and management.
• Basic IT skills for inventory tracking.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Forklift or machinery operator certification is a plus.
• Relevant technical or operational qualifications in dismantling or recycling industries.
