Key Responsibilities: Maintains a positive relationship while working closely with the staff to build a strong team through coaching, goal setting, and constructive feedback. Researches and recommends best practices that can be followed. Continous Improvement Mindset. Ensures staff is focused on customer service and moving all loads legally within guidelines. Works directly with LOC team to address equipment concerns, in particular where customer needs are not being covered. Works closely with operations, customers and customer service to ensure movement of containers to the customer’s satisfaction. Monitors, records and reports cost savings, unbudgeted expenses, service failures and empty equipment inventory to the department manager, along with suitable recommendations. We are looking for: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within yard operations. Proven background as a manager or supervisor in yard operations. Intermediate English proficiency, both written and spoken. Strong leadership skills with a focus on safety compliance, operational excellence, and team engagement.
